"Dr. H., Medical Director"
Herpes.org is overseen by board certified medical professionals experienced in the evaluation and management of herpes and HPV infections. These professionals have made important contributions to medicine organizations and have published substantially in their fields. Publications include both
written and video materials ranging on topics including critical care, emergency
cardiac care, and physician training, participation in national curricula
for physician orientation and training , and active lecture avocation
in acute care and related topics using computer-based multimedia techniques.
These professionals are active clinicians with a large base of patients with various STD's,
including HSV, HPV, and HIV in a broad range of age groups. They continuously
screen the medical literature on these subjects, corresponding constantly with
various researchers around the world in the areas of vaccine production, control
of disease recurrence, and related matters.
"Dr. H." believes that www.herpes.org has an outstanding opportunity to decrease
the incidence of infection, bring relief to suffering patients including both
symptom control and psychological support, and to increase awareness among patients,
consorts, and interested others of the realities surrounding various STD's.
"Dr. H." believes that tens of millions of Americans suffering silently deserve more
information and care, including affordable medical resources for these diseases.
"Dr. H." would hope that the efforts of www.herpes.org plus other
available Internet resources will create a new understanding concerning these
conditions.
Finally, we use the term "Dr. H." to emphasize the anonymous nature of this web-based activity. We ardently protect the information shared with us by all who would write to us, sharing it with no one, no where, at any time.
